Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you use this website or apply for a call. It is written to be read, not to be impressive. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.
What we collect and why
When you apply, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the answers you give in the application form, including your current monthly revenue band, the offer you run and the funnel you use.
We collect this for one purpose: to decide whether we can help you, and to contact you about the call you booked. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone outside the services listed below.
When you visit the site we also receive standard technical data: IP address, browser, device type, referring page and pages viewed.
Personal and non-personal information
Personal information identifies you. Your name, email address and phone number are personal information.
Non-personal information does not identify you and cannot be traced back to you. Aggregate counts of how many people viewed a page are non-personal. We can use and share non-personal information freely.
Legal basis
Where GDPR applies, we process your data on two bases. Consent, which you give by submitting the application form, and legitimate interest, for keeping the site secure and understanding how it is used. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses.
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The embedded services listed below may set their own cookies when you interact with them, for example to remember your progress through the application form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, parts of the embedded form may stop working.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to:
- decide whether your business is a fit for what we do
- contact you about the call you booked, by email or phone
- prepare for that call so we are not asking you things you already told us
- keep the website working and secure
We may also use your information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Who processes your data
We use these services, and your data passes through them:
- Typeform — the application form
- Calendly — booking the call
- Vercel — hosting this website
- Google Fonts — typefaces, which loads from Google's servers and receives your IP address
- Wistia — the videos on this site
Several of these are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the EEA. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses those providers have in place.
Sharing with others
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Beyond the services listed above, we share it only if the law compels us to, or if we need to protect our rights or someone's safety.
If the business is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer to the new owner. You would be told before that happened.
How long we keep it
Application data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If we work together, records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- have it deleted
- receive a copy in a portable format
- object to how we process it
- withdraw consent at any time
Email diogo@scaleopsagency.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to application data is limited to the people who need it to do the work. The services listed above hold your data on their own infrastructure under their own security terms.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot promise your data will never be accessed by someone who should not have it, and you should not send us anything highly sensitive by email.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. Read their policies before giving them anything.
Children's privacy
This site is for people running a business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top changes. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so on this page.
